The unique quality and range of services enjoyed by Abbeyfield residents and the very modest charges are possible only because volunteers freely give of their experience, skills and commitment. Volunteers occupy every post in the Executive and House committees, and are the Trustees legally responsible for the affairs of the Society. Volunteers contribute to the friendly family atmosphere of each house and organise the programme of social activities.
We
are currently recruiting for Trustees to join our Executive Committee.
We are always keen to hear from people who are interested in contributing to our work in other ways, including helping and befriending our residents and helping to organise events etc.
We rely on our small team of salaried staff to provide services to residents. People doing a valued job in a great team atmosphere - we are always keen to hear from people interested in working with us.
